Probably the best years of my life filled with simple innocence. I used to want to relive those few precious years, but now either I've changed or I'm happier this way. I watch children blossom and learn that life is so much more than handwriting lessons and long division. It is complex, confusing and wicked. But under all that, once you peel back the layers, it can be beautiful. It can be exciting. You feel the urge to rebel and bend the rules which can be snapped. You push the limits and the possibilities in life are endless. Maybe thats why I don't want to go back. Childhood opened a few doors but there were so many more windows.
